I went to go take my mustang out for a drive and when I went to start it, it started right up revved to 4000 rpm and shut off? I have no clue where to start as far as diaging this any help would be apprectiated btw 351w with stock style fuel injection from a mustang a9l computer also has a 6al box

open vaccum port possibly? disconnect the iac and start the car, see if it reacts the same

Checked for a kinked throttle cable. Sometimes they bind and wont release.

Will check those this coming weekend and report back didn't want to fool with it Sunday, so I took the dirtbike out on the trails for a bit.

Ok coming back from the dead, throttle body is like new only 20 miles or so on it, throttle cable was not stuck, Smooth i did disconnect the idle control motor on the side of the throttle body and it seemed to idle ok but if I barely crack the gas it shoots upto 4000-5000rpm. When i put the 75mm throttle body on it came with an adjustable throttle position sensor i followed the directions when i put it on but could this be causing the throttle to go wack. And if so whats the procedure for reseting it, it worked fine when i first installed the throttle body then about 1/2 day at the track it started doing this.
