Mustang exhaust gods, need your thougts on figment of cat backs.

So I've got a 85, and I found on the ole Craigslist a brand new looking 99-04 cat back off a bullitt. I've always loved the way those cars sound from the factory and would like to pick this up for my fox. Way long ago though, I had a set of flowmaster tail pipes for a sn95 car I had that we tried putting on a 79 zephyr, and I honestly can't remember why they didn't fit. The inter net isn't helping much with this question. Seems to be a 50/50 split on wether they'll fit or not.

Any advice is appreciated. I'm not afraid of cutting and welding either, some have said it's hangers that are wrong and others have said they just don't fit period (although I don't understand why) and others have said they fit with no issue.

Most of the info I read is from SN95s getting Fox parts, the flow tubes are close but the tail pipes are different and have different hangers. It could work with modifications if you get it cheap enough

I know the mid pipes are different, they've got different flanges and everything. The 4.6 had that stupid passenger side flat flange and the driver side was normal Buick ball style.

I'm looking for the flow tube's back to the bumper. So basiacilly the muffler and tail pipes.
