Muffler replacement

Now that I bought my Mustang back I noticed the mufflers showing their age. I have Flowmaster 2 chambers from 1996 and they are just starting to show one rust hole on each. What is a good muffler for street driving? Want it to rumble at idle and cruising but not be too obnoxious when getting on it around the police like my old bullets:thumbsdow. BTW they are 3 inch.

I like flows! I had macs on my old car (actually going on my new car) and they sound decent.

That sounded good ! I like the flows just didn't know if they had something better out now that would last another 15 years whether it's me who owns it or....

Stainless Magnaflows would last 15 years and they're a straight through design that flows well.

Dynomax makes the ultraflow welded in stainless now - the are not too loud and have much less backpressure than a flowmaster. They also just came out with the Dynomax VT - its got a valve in it that is closed at idle then opens under high flow - pretty cool! I work for the company that own's Dynomax so i see all of their stuff.

351 Ford Crate Motor Canfield heads , Super Victor , 950 carb , C4 basic street car.....little juice too
