WOW! That little jelly bean goes so fast so easily. That GT-R had no advantage being AWD! Cars like this are the reason NHRA lowered the cage requirements. 10.30's bone stock. Amazing little car!

Wow that thing moves out. But I thought the ZR1 could pull off something better than a 11.79???

If you were to put 10 random ZR1 owners behind the wheel on the drag strip I'd bet that none of them would run better than an 11.5. You got to remember that the drag strip is ALL about experience and driver skill.

The guy behind the wheel of the MP4 is the 'Ranger' of the Corvette world. He practically lives at the strip. Nonetheless, that is a smoking time for a practically stock car. Sure would put a lot of modded cars to shame.

Yeah, Vette guy was clearly a amateur....He took a nap before he decided to let it go.....None the less both cars are very quick...That Mclaren was amazingly fast for not having mods

RWD and 0-60 in 2.7 via vBox. That's pretty much impossible to beat unless you have something very high HP and AWD.

2.7? this ugly thing does it in 3.2 lol

All I can say is that a lot of people who frequent this board have built faster cars for a lot less than the money it would take to buy that car. I was expecting to see something a little better than the 10's. :dontknow:

Most cars that you would have seen here built as fast or faster were purpose built to go straight very fast....This car, if anything is purpose built for corners and N-Ring type of driving....And to still accomplish that kind of straight line drag time when nothing about it is set up for drag racing is what is so impressive....But I agree with you that it is VERY expensive, and I couldn't see myself spending that kind of money on a car when you most likely could never push it to its limits.

2.7 on the street or on that pass down the strip? On the street that is RIPPING. At the track that's basically what a hooking mid-11 second car would do.
