I like it but what about switching it up. Those seem backwards to me. How about a horse with a bowtie inside of it. Maybe near the heart or something. Doesn't have to be big, just there so you know. Just a thought I just had. Since it is a ford car with a chevy powerplant.
 
Yeah I thought about that...but i would have to CAD up a running horse and a bowtie.....I wanted something in the background of the horse, It's being reworked to make the bowtie a little bit smaller. Or I will put this on the fenders...I dunno yet.
 
I like it! If the new mod motor goes out in my 08 GT again I'm going to put a LSX in the damn thing.

To all the "purests" get over it man. Ford, GM and Chrysler all make great stuff.

Why not take a legendary platform like the fox chassis and put in a phenominal drivetrain from GM?

To me thats the essence of hot rodding. Ever hear of a 32 ford with a small block chevy?

very true. I like the 32's with 331 caddies, ardun headed flatties or 392 hemis just because their diffrent.

a chevy powerd 32' are quite common hence the reason why I used it as an example. But I'm sure you figured it our. :D
 
haha nice. Ive been debating swapping the 460 out of my lincoln for a 6.2/6l80 swap from an escalade. Chevy Power FTW!!!

you have me confused on this one.

Here is the mod motor problem. The heads flow like gangbusters but there is just not enough cubes to take advantage of the heads. A set of 4 valve heads on a 4 inch bore would be killer but its not avaliable. Hopefully Ford's new 6.2L will address this. I also hope they have a decent bottom end. Because unless you have a 03-04 or GT-500 short block, anything over 475 hp and the rods come out of the block.

There are stock shortblock LS1 cars running 600whp that are doing just fine.

The fact that the ZR1 is a factory engine with a full warrenty that holds 640hp alone is worth the admission.

Dont get me wrong I like ford cars and trucks but man! are they expensive to build.

If I stayed with a Ford I'd do a big inch winsor.

BTW around 2013-2014 time frame I will have me a F-350 Diesel If its half as good as the press release i got I'll be camping out at Varsity ford waiting for Matt to sell one to me.
