Hey everyone. Since the weather looks so nice for Sat & Sun let's make the most of it. Time to plan a fun fall event for the club and their families. Who's interested in cruising to Yates Cider Mill in Rochester Hills, MI this weekend? They have some great cider & donuts. I love those cinnamon ones! 
Yates has a petting area for the kiddies and a nice walking path along the river. We took our dogs there last month and had a great time. There is also a fudge shop, and ice cream and other items for sale. I found some awesome strawberry rhubarb jam they sell. :drool:
I need to confirm with the mill tomorrow (they are checking the driveway to the lot suggested to me to make sure we can pull in easily so any lowered cars won't have an issue) but they said the earlier in the day the better. And we can have the grass parking area just across from the mill to park as a group.
Maybe we could meet up at the Wal-Mart parking lot at Mound & M-59 and then cruise up to the mill as a group. Let me know if anyone has any other ideas. I am thinking maybe we meet up at 9:00-9:30am and cruise up to the mill as a group at 10am. That way we can mingle a little with the cars beforehand and then hang out at the mill with your friends & families.
And please vote for Sat or Sun this weekend and I will try to get it set up with the Mill.
EDIT: Going to try to be there both days so those of you that can only make 1 of the 2 days can still participate. Instead of meeting up at Wal-Mart I will just go straight to the Cider Mill at 9:30am and park on the grass by the red house (west side of the big barn). I will set up our Motown Banner and try to get us all space as a group.
