We (Motown) are kicking around the idea of having a display @ Autorama this year. I would say 4-6 car would be the size of our display. You would be responsible for stanchions, carpet and entry fee's (we will supply some beer, grub and help). If this is something you'd like to to do, please respond here or send me a PM. I'd like to get this going ASAP, so please don't delay if you're interested.

With help from Slickstang (Carl) I did this a few years ago. It's a good time, but you have to be committed to doing it.

Weekend of the show is March 8-10 with move in early that week.

I was part of the TDR display 3 years ago it is by far the best way to do the show because when you get tired of walking around you can go crash in the booth

I'd like to put my Green LS1 vert Carl Painted in there. I did it years back with my buddy, a TTA and his 600 mile survivor GN so I'm familiar with the setup and what not.

Sounds good. I'll put you in the mix.

That was fun when we did it the first year. Good times! Just wish i had something to enter!

I work wed-saturday now or i'd volunteer a truck to haul a car again for move-in.

The Torino rolls and starts, I guess I could tint the windows real dark and keep them up and no one will know there's no interior. I don't really think that would fly.

If the Mustang is done by then, it would like nice.

'66 coupe, Blue with white stripes, shelby hood and front end.
mild 302, AOD, 8.8 - 3.73, new interior/paint, '66 A/C. New 17" Bullitt Rims.

I'll volunteer 20% off my work for any car that'll be shown in the MM display. While it'll still cost you, maybe this will help a little bit to anyone that'll be representing the club and is interested in having their baby looking her best.

Thanks for organizing this Matt.

Hell of a deal, thank you Marc.

Damn Marc! Now you actually have me contemplating it.....

OK guys I've got quite a few people that want in. I will need the following things to submit your entry to Autorama.

1. Filled out application (I have a PDF file that you can print and fill out) or you can email me the info and I'll fill one out
2. Check/Money Order for $50.00 payable to Autorama
3. Pictures-Front 3/4-Rear 3/4-engine-interior. Again you can email me the pictures and I can get them printed out to send in

All application MUST BE IN by Feb 1st, but I'd like to have them at least by the end of next week to be safe. Keep in mind Autorama is the final say in who gets in or not. Carl-Slickstang is helping me out with this process. He has an "in" since he has done this a bunch of times so I've been tapping him for info.

Might be interested if you guys need another car. As the new guy around here, Larry (1BADAIR) will have to vouche for me.

Might motivate me to clean up a couple things before then.... Could use a little exterior lovin from Marc too!

Marc would this be pre show onsite?

I can do whatever you'd like, but you're best off having real correction work done (permanent changes to the finish of your vehicle) as it is what makes the biggest difference in how your car looks, and will last 1-5+ years depending on how you care for your car. Having me come to the show to dust your car? Sure that's a lot cheaper and easy, but it'll have a small impact on how good your car will look.

Just to be clear: this is ONLY for MM cars that will be on display at the show. I want to help the club put it's best foot forward!
