I do not have any motor mount perches on my k member so a motor plate is my only option, do I have to run a mid plate with the front motor plate or can I just run the one? and where can I buy them at, thanks.

Unless I'm mistaken you have to run both plates plus a limiter to keep the motor from moving back/ forth. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

thanks for the replys, im looking at the motor plates right now at jegs and summit it says I got to run an ele water pump with them is there a plate I can buy that does not require the ele water pump?

I doubt you will find one that you dont run an electric water pump on. Because of the way the motorplate mounts to the front of the engine. Honestly the cheaper route would be to just buy a new K member with motormounts. Otherwise you will need the motor plates and limiter I got mine from TeamZ who uses skinny kid race car plates. You will need to have them mounted if you don't have access to someone who can weld. Chances are with the motorplates you will want to set the motor back farther so you'll then need to customize the trans mount and drive shaft as well.. Just sell your K frame and buy one with motor mounts unless your motor is making so much power you feel you need plates.

Great advice!!
