Hi Dave.. No I've not seen DaveP since last winter at McVee's. He doesn't post anymore either. At least in the GL section!

But the question is, where the heck have you been? Haven't seen you in ages either! LOL... I think i'm the only left from the original 2000-2002 detroit forum crew. MattG, Big Guy, DaveP, Tom Pump, $$$frumnuttin' are all MIA!
 
What can I say? I sold the Z06 to a guy in Texas who's currently beating the shit out of it. Bought it expressly for street racing. It was a fun car, but it's better served in a better climate where it can be used like I built it.

Did you ever hear about Matt's car? He sold it some guy big into street racing, who promptly crashed it in a 3 way street race like a month later on the 401 and fuckin DIED :sad: Saw pics of it on the news, motor ripped out on the WRONG side after it was jettisoned from the car and smacked into one on the other side. Pretty big head trip for Matt, but what can you do? His Nova is a full time hobby, goes low 9's around 147-148 mph. Not bad for somethin him and his dad built in the garage!

I'll try and make it out to Milan if you guys are runnin low, but every time I go I promise myself it'll be the last :laugh:

Yea, I heard about Matt's car. That sucks. Goes to show these cars are no joke.

So whats your new vice? LOL.. But yea, definitely c'mon out! We definitely can use a few more cars! Let me know if your in for sure!
 
Anybody know if this track rental is going to happen even though they are a few cars short?

I heard mine might too. Last attempted pass (at low boost) it broke before the 1/8th at about 120mph. I stabbed the brakes but then let it coast to the 1/4 for 10.01 at 100mph.

Can we just show up at the gate and pay the entry fee?
