Motor City Motors tonight on Discovery Channel

That car was badass for sure last I saw it it was all yellow but that was like 5 years ago,who has it now any idea??

Tony Valente bought it a while ago, he's local.. a real nice guy, its been at milan several times. He continued to run the nostaligia prostreet class for a while.. now he just runs it from time to time on the weekends.. he repainted it purple but with different graphics, the car was never yellow. maybe a different car, there has been several impalas out in the past years!

We hung out with Bruce and a bunch of other guys at Madison's in Mt. Clemens to watch it last night. had a good time, the show needs a little help. But could have been worse.

The yellow car I think your talking about was a mid 1960s Impala built by Danny Scott. I think the owners name was "Scott Hotchkins" or something similar to that. It was a 2" x 3" frame car like Danny's first 1966 Chevelle. I believe it too was a C.A.R.S. sponsored car for a short period of time. I could be wrong.

Danny Scott for years built many of the suspensions on the the worlds fastest street cars. He is a very talented chassis builder that has gone very fast himself and owns a few NMCA/NSCA Pro Street Fastest Street Car titles.

All in all the show wasn't terrible. Hot Rods should remain the focus. Maybe a trike with a blown V8 or something would be slick and more in the wheel house of the D-Bro's.

IMO, The show sucked. If it weren't for the show being based in Detroit I would have changed the channel at the first commercial.

I'll tell you what, nothing was better than that back then.. I worked in sales for C.A.R.S. inc. monday thru Thursday and got paid to work on the race cars on the weekends.. tons of traveling, meet some really cool people and learned alot from many more.. Wouldnt trade those experiences for anything..
