Motor City Motors tonight on Discovery Channel

I thought the show was pretty cool but the brother "Jamie" needs to get his act together.
I'm sure there's a few unemployed Motown Members that are MORE Qualified than he is and would've taken the job alot more seriously. Hope he steps up and represents Detroit a little better next show!
 
Cool show for sure !!! I would love to be on the show . . . . I hope it makes it to season 2 !!! It was cool seeing all the boys from my dad and uncles era on there !!!
 
I wish they would stick to just building cool hot rods, and not getting into the whole monster garage theme again as the previews show . . . .

Be kinda cool if they made it like biker build off, but with hot rods . . . Detroit vs. the world !!!

One of the guys said they hope this show turn there bike business around..(I'd start packing up the shop) My buddy and I went to there shop right after that biker build off show a few years back to buy some t-shirts, we walked out of there saying what a bunch of cocky fucks.

If I remember right, they were on Biker Build-off. But I am not 100% on that. This was years ago though.
 
just like jesse james...going broke building bikes, TLC steps in and makes them a deal...lame show, they should have given the builders more love. damn I should have sent that app out :)

Personally, I thought their bikes looked like shit....who would buy one?
Ill put the Harley shop next door to my shop up against anything those guys could build.

I remember the first time I saw a Det. Bros. bike a couple years back...they just don't look right. I'm all for thinking outside of the box, but I don't need part of the frame angled 90* in front of my crotch.
 
im watching the show right now on dvr. and so far its terrible. i was at milan when they were testing the car. it was slow as hell, not sure if they show it on the show or not since im only half way through it right now.

way more qualified shops to do that stuff at. what about team z? stenod? reiters? or any other big shop around here? its cool they can build a bike, but a car shop would be way more qualified to do something like that. why do the bike builders get the glory? bikes are simple compared to a car. i know team z taped a show about cutting a car in half and welding it back together or something. i wonder if it was for motor city motors? i was just at his shop this morning and didnt think to ask.

They should take all 3 shops... And have a build off... Now that would make a killer show... Kinda like Junkyard wars...

i caught part of the show, i thought that was bruce, but i was half asleep and never got a good look at his mug. :lol: cool lookin car, seemed like some tools working on it though
 
my dad and i were at the track testing the camaro the day they were testing the car. im sorry but we were both very unimpressed. it never made a good pass and the guys were getting so flustered, of course on TV they didnt show the multiple failed passes. but then im just bitter because of all the shots they took of my car and not one was aired. :dunno:
