Motor City Auto Auction, anyone use?

Has anyone used it before to sell a vehicle? Is it like Ebay where if it doesn't reach a certain amount you don't have to sell? I am thinking I need to sell my Camaro and don't want to go through all the hassle of selling to a private owner or placing an ad. What sort of fee's do they have? Good and/or bad experiences?

Thanks,

My experience from public auctions is this:

Dealers sell their junk there that they can't sell on their lots, and the public that buys there usually has very little $.

Best bet is to sell it privately or ebay it.

winter isn't the best time to sell there either, nobody wants to walk around a yard in the freezing ass cold

Yeah I'm not looking for top dollar on it, its only a v6 and it has its issues I mean it runs fine, but its not perfect. I'd be happy if I were to get 2k for it. Looking online I found there fee's for that ballpark to be ~$200 so I'm not sure I want to go that route. Who knows, the wife has till January to turn her lease in so I may just use it as a down payment on her new car since she won't be getting another Mazda. I just figured if it was easy I would just sell it at Motor City, but it sounds like now is not the time, nor is that the place

ebay's fees are a straight $45 for the listing now, and if it sells, another $45. Not too bad for the extra exposure it could possibly get.
