most ideal simplest engine swap for 4 cyl 82 zephyr?

my friends zephyr just toasted engine, what would be an ideal easy engine swap?

302 would bolt in. If it was a 4cyl the stock k-member would clear. You have to change the k-member if the car started as a straight 6.

Or another 4cyl would be even easier.
