This thread makes me hate my piece of shit........
Nice car!!!
Don't do that. Your car is really nice!
Sooo clean! You could eat off the bottom of the car!
At least until it gets driven:thumbsup:
Whoever had to prep the underside of that car for paint......probably wasn't a big fan of you that day ROFL.
Looks great Dan!
Thanks man.
It appears as if the steering linkage ends are missing some anodize,
you really need to get that taken care of.
Very funny...
NICEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEx100
Thanks.
Thats about as clean as it gets. Stunning!
Thanks Eric.
I think is was more like a week! You should have seen it before, it was all black greasy undercoating and oil mix. He ended up having to sand blast it and do a ton of hand work.
The man who did the paint work is named Carlos. He does excellent work, doesn't he, Greg?
Either way, car looks great man. Cannot wait to see it go.
Thanks man. I like your car alot. White GT's ftw!
Dan, I had the opportunity to check the car out the other day at Stenods and it's simply amazing. The pictures do not do it justice at all. Everytime I looked at it I found something cool that I didn't previously see.
Now that I've read this whole thread instead of just zinging through for the pics, I have to say I understand why everbody speaks so highly of Dukes wiring skills. VERY nice job!! Very well thought out and executed!!
Thanks Davis. I know the work you've done on other vehicles, so I know you understand well the level of work, detail, and execution that went into this build. That's why Greg, Rob, Stenod and Duke (wiring) deserve so much respect. These guys put it together. Greg (gpowrie), especially, needs to be recognized for coordinating the whole project from top to bottom, and for going above and beyond to get this thing to the level its at.
I like the alt bracket on the oil pan very slick.
That whole alternator setup was thought out and implemented by Greg. Jake (from Port Huron) created some parts to make this thing work. Joe (Stenod) did the welding on the oil pan for a the brace mounting point. It is a neat little touch that I really like, too.
Now, I just have to make sure I don't smash the oil pan!!!
Definitely a work of art.
Thanks Raj. I appreciate it.
