Anyone have an old LT1 Camaro hood laying around I could borrow? Would need it like a week. I'm sure someone has upgraded to an SS hood and has the stocker laying around. Need to get the girlfriends hood painted but she can't be without her car. Hoping someone will loan me one to put on her car while hers gets painted.
 
I might be able to grab one this weekend. We are putting a friends car away for a weekend. Ill let you know. I'm on the westside, might be a ride to pick it up, or I can meet you somewhere.

I'll drive where I have to. A long drive is less of a hassal then her not having her car for a week. I found out the hard way it was illegal to drive without a hood thanks to a Davison cop a few years back.

are you serious about it being illegal to drive without a hood?i called my local police a while ago and asked and they told me it was not......good thing i didnt do it huh?

I'll let you know if I can't find one closer when it comes time to paint. It's not for like a month but I figured start now before I forget and need one the night before.

I didn't get a ticket but he pulled me over and bitched at me for awhile about it. Maybe it was I was 17 in an airbagged Sonoma, maybe it's illegal.... He said it was illegal atleast.
