seeing as most people aren't going to be racing the ring any time soon, the real competition is out in the world so to speak... and with that 115mph 1/4 the GTR does, it'll get worked regularly by Z06s... there's no real two ways about that

all wheel drive is nice till about 70 or 80 mph then the Z06 just walks away.

Take off the runflats on A Z06 and see what happens.

The GTR is to heavy and doesent make enough power. Put a good driver that knows corvettes querks and put a great driver in the GTR and see what happens.

On a short track the GTR will beat a Zo6 because of the all wheel drive. But put the two on a track full of long straights and watch the Z make mince meet of the GTR

Ken has shown what a good set of tires on a stock C5 Z06 can do. Imagine that on a C6 Zo6 .

(or for the ultimate wet dream, a good set of tires on a ZR1.)
