Montego HID lights

My dad has a 05 Montego, and one of his headlights burned out recently. He bought it used a little over a year ago and wasnt aware of the 175 dollars it takes to replace one. Is there a way to downgrade to regular bulbs with the same lenses? or if not does anyone make a aftermarket headlight assembley? I havent been able to find anything for it.

If the ballast to the bulb is still good... You can purchase the bulbs for about $90-$100...

yeah, plug the good headlight into the socket of the bad one and see if it lights up

I once had both my low beams go out on an old quad headlight car. I took it to the dealer and paid a few hundred bucks for them to tell me that they both just burned out. Sometimes the simple things go right past you.:lol:

I'd just replace the bulb if that's what it needs. The price vs. night time visibility is worth it IMO. Plus it's only $100 every 5 or so years. To me it's worth it.
