Monster Truck backflip @ Silverdome!

I don't know if anyone else went to the "knock off" monster trucks at the grand opening of the Silverdome last weekend or whenever it was "domination at the dome" but this one monster truck did a back flip, it was pretty bad sweet! The video isn't the greatest as it was taken with my digital camera. But enjoy I thought it was pretty sweet!

That looked brutal!

I heard them advertising on the radio that one truck was going to attempt a double back flip, was it supposed to be that truck?
 
yea i heard that too, total BS, but was still pretty sweet to see someone do a back flip in a monster truck, that takes some balls!
 
How can any event with Bigfoot be called a knockoff?

Bigfoot started the whole thing?!

Plus they dont script their racing like Monster Jam (used to and I hear still does).

:lol: yeah it was pretty thin there as for an audience. But I will say they diid clean the place up. the first time I went to the bathroom there it actually smelled like cleaning supplies and not a rotting corpse! :lmao:

Dude....it wasn't bigfoot. it was a whack monster truck with some "Big Foot" stickers on it! The funny part was that the "free style" was pretty lame these guys didn't get all outta control destroying their trucks like the real guys do. There was one truck excalibur or something like that that did his freestyle run and was just going crazy, Then "Big Foot" went last and his run was pretty lame yet he won the free style. It was totally scripted!
 
That guys been doing it for awhile. I went to the palace with a friend of mine and his daughter for monster trucks at the palace last fall. When they announced him they said he was the first complete a backflip in a truck.

As a former Bigfoot employee I was at that show catching up with old co-workers. (I took several MM members to meet them after the show)

I can assure that was really Bigfoot specifically Bigfoot 11. the driver was Eric Tack, I was his crew guy and traveled the country with him.

That truck makes more HP then any on the ciruit, has a better built chassis and the most well sorted suspension on the circuit.

"real guys" can control their truck and destroy their truck during a freestyle.
If you want to see a bunch of crazy rednecks who dont have the skill to control their truck and tear shit up go to a demolition derby.

Bigfoot won freestyle on its name alone. You think Grave Digger and Max D have never done that? come on get real.

MANY of the trucks at Monster jam are owned by the promotions company so when the dipshit drivers tear crap up they dont have to pay to fix it. The Chandlers maintain quality equipment on their own nickel.
 
It was awesome to see Bigfoot in action. A lot of the freestyles were really, really good, they just didn't end up with an upsidedown truck. I was actually kind of surprised at the number of upside down trucks there were. It was good to see a lot of the old school monster truck names were still around and maintaining modern equipment (Michigan Ice Monster, Excaliber) and it was pretty bad ass that Allen Pezo brought out the old Predator along with the new Predator. A good show of how monster trucks have progressed. Free style would be pretty lame if they were all still leaf sprung trucks :lol: I also thought it was cool that the Pezo's could hit events like that even though they run Monster Jam. I didn't know they had that freedom.

And do you really think Big Foot losing in the racing portion was scripted? Seriously?
 
I guess I am Old school But I enjoyed seeing the original predator "driving" onto the cars. now thats some real iron there!!! the difference between this show like Shaun says is that these are personally owned truck that people did not want to destroy.

I enjoyed the whole show.... But than again I enjoyed the first monster truck events over 20 years ago when all the did was drive up onto the cars and everybody went nuts LOL

I also really enjoyed seeing the spring truck on the floor of the dome again!
 
I went to it, it was ok. i was hoping the first BIGFOOT was gonna come out. Like the late 70's early 80's model F150.

15 years ago? More like 25 years ago :lol: but yeah. He brought his goofy cat nose truck Predator and the old ass spring truck.
 
Stinger1982, I have NEVER seen Grave Digger or Max D win just on there name!!! They are the only two out there that get it done at every show! Period!!! :shrug:

I have been to a thousand times more Monster truck shows than anyone on this board and I have seen it. I have also been in drivers meetings where they outline who will win which round (of racing) and how Dennis is taking the win tonight, before we started
