Monster Jam is this weekend at Ford Field and I was curious if you guys had any input on the best places to sit.
I was thinking about taking the kids but wanted a better understanding than just shooting in the dark at seating

Thanks in advance

PLEASE make sure you get ear protection for your kids. Saw sooo many parents there last year with little ones without it. Literally, kids crying from the noise.

x2 on ear protection.

All the lower bowl seats are gone, 200 area seats are still there. Ford Field has tickets, best available for $34 adults, and $18 or so kids. Add about $10/ticket is fees, even though they don't print tickets and they scan off a Smart Phone app.

I'm looking for the $15 tickets this time. I took my daughter last month, paid for Row 14 (basically 2nd or 3rd row since the first 10-12 rows are not available for protection), paid $75 total after all the fees, and got hosed with a "booking error".

We usually sit on the second level on the rail. Kids can see easily. I forgot their earmuffs in the car one year, and it cost me $40 for two pair of cheap ones there. The following year I went to get them out and they snapped in half because the plastic dried out. Get a set of shooting earmuffs from somewhere. They will always be good. Use them at Milan or wherever.

I did the family pack for the january show. I sat in sect 102 I thought they where great seats. Dummy me bought our pit passes but for four tickets and four pit passes it was $165 and some change.

I go to ford field and pipck mine up. NO service fees. i've sat almost everywhere along the side and loved the seats. Not a fan of being on the end, or curve. 2 adults, 2 kids, 68$. I refuse to pay 44$ in service fees. There's a small lot for temporary parking right next to the office entrance for free. Took me 10 minutes in and out.

Just bought a pair of $15 tickets..... for $17. $34+$5handling and $16.80 convenience fee. Talk about money grab. Handling fee to electronically transfer to a virtual ticket on the flash seats app. And $16.80 for????
Oh yeah, it's a suck-it fee because driving 1.5 hours round trip to buy tickets at Ford Field is worth more than $16.80 to me. But still a bullshit money grab

Sorry guys... I keep getting calls for tickets.... too many people stiffed me a couple years ago and never picked up the tickets they ordered.... I got stuck with 20+ that went into the trash.

After all that griping, my girlie girl and I had a great time. This was a much bigger show than the one last month, and the arena was pretty full. The carnage was extreme, I don't think more than 4 or 5 survived the freestyle, they were running out of room to put all the busted trucks, and decided to leave 1 where it crashed since there were only a couple trucks left.

We ended up on the 1st level by the big Pepsi ... pole... thing and got a good view of the backflip mound.

Forward to about 1:00 for probably the biggest air of the night. A good 30-35' vertical.

I heard the Supercross ad this morning, that gravely guttural announcer dude still cracks me up, but at least they didn't have him say that "you'll only need the edge" of your seat line.

THIS.

And if you go to the box office, you can pick your seats.

We always sit first row 200 level, and I get between 9-12 seats together every year.
Trying to do that on an app / web page is nearly impossible, they always put us at the top of the 300's, in a corner.

Parts tend to break when you do shit like this.
