Anyone going up to ride the trails this weekend? I will be staying in lewiston, and riding the mio trails, mainly around bull gap. Hit me up if you wanna trail ride with me and a few friends. We are all on quads.

Not to come off like a dick, but I doubt someone riding a quad would be able to keep up the pace through the single track, whoops, etc.

Thats the truth! lol.. Ill be on a 4x4 foreman, one guy on a trx450r, another on 400ex, another on a 300ex, and a few raptors and other sport quads. Maybe a few friends with dirt bikes. We wont be tearing it up the whole time.

I'm going to try and get a few friends together and head up. If we happen to cross paths, I ride a 06 kx450F mx bike.

I could see if your trying to be on kill mode the whole weekend, otherwise its fine. We go up to ST. Helen a few times a year and its always a mix of quads and dirt bikes. Besides, you have to be really good on a dirtbike to keep up with an average rider on a quad on 52's. Even then your just begging to smack a tree. The last few times I've been up north I was on a RM125 and would of had a LOT more fun on a quad. Dirt bikes are kind of gay on snowmobile trails and 52's. When you want to stop and rest you have to sit on the bike or lean it against something...ugh.

you're kidding right?..........i've never seen a quad that could hang for long with my '07 honda 450f......quads are just too hard to ride fast on rough terrain.....gay my ass.....

have fun though......sounds like a good time...

I would be game if the old lady didn't have me tied up. We were supposed to ride Cadillac last week and everyone canceled out on me! I don't mind riding with quads as long as I'm riding! I've only been out twice this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! F'ing sx!

No, I'm not kidding. I'm not the best on a dirt bike but my friends on 450's (quads) have no problem keeping up on 52's. The only time we could get away on dirt bikes is over whoops or the sandy snowmobile trails and thats just because the dirt bikes are faster than the quads. Even a stock 125 will beat a modded 450 (quad) in a straight line. Then again if you ride a 450f your probably a lot faster than me. 4 stroke helps a lot in 52's as well. ;)

I am not the best rider either but I can tell you that the quad guys we ride with have no problem keeping up with me on my CRF450X through all but the tightest stuff. Then again I'm old and don't bounce off trees as well as I used to! That shit hurts now!

Hey, I would love to go riding with you guys. I've ridden up there several times near Rose City and Mio. I have a Kawasaki KDX200 that is a great trail bike. I can't make it this weekend, but would like to ride sometime this fall if you guys go again.
