Milan to IHRA, maybe sold too?

Interesting because payso had a race scheduled for that weekend. He posted yesterday he has not heard anything from ownership and it was business as usual.
 
It's my understanding that everything has been agreed to, but that the lawyers still have to sign off on everything.
 
Big turn in the story today as three of the tracks have come out and said they did not sell to them.
 
Honestly, I would LOVE to do a rental. Maybe we could get some people from Camaroz28.com, mifbody, and Michigan Turbo Buick club to have a "Old Time Michigan Car Club" rental.

Does anyone on here still do sponsors? There has gotta be someone around who can kick in to partially cover costs? Can anyone legitimately ask johnquick?

The track/place is under renovations currently and probably won't be open until the end of the month. Once they get their calendar up and going I can ask him.

We can do a pre-pay model this time. Since we are all old guys now, it hopefully shouldn't be an issue. If we can get 40 people at $50 a pop that would be $2000. Seems like a reasonable target. I can ask around here at work and scrounge up more people if it costs more, or we need more people.
