mil eliminators 2002 Mustang GT

I think the 02-04 cars had some sort of programming from the factory where the traditional mil eliminators wouldnt work. At least they did not work on my 02.

The last car, I used spark plug anti foulers. It pulls the O2 sensor out of the stream and I RTV'd a flat piece of metal over the hole in the bottom. Never had a MIL return after that.

What year/model vehicle did you implement this fix?

Im gonna call lmr and find out. They advertise 96-04
 
Mine was a 2010. I tried to make some low pass filters (MIL eliminators) but the newer PCMs didnt work with them.


I had a 2006 GT with some Casper Electronics MIL elims and it was ok. Id get a code every once in a while tho.

I had a 96 GT with the MIL elims and no issues. The older EEC PCMs arent as picky so the antifouler should be fine. Any is much cheaper too.
