Mike Ridings...

I wasn't going to post it but Mike called me today. I'm not saying when he said I'd have my servos cause that doesn't really matter. What matters is I really think he's trying to make an honist effort to make things right and hopefully things work out and we all get squared away.

Unfortunately, how many of his current jobs is he not taking care of to help you out? Sure he is making you happy but at the cost of annoying how many other customers?

But let's be honest here - and just being a devils advocate - how many people has Mike bent over backwards and helped out or got their shit to them on time versus the people that didn't get their stuff? He can't please everyone, but there's a reason so many people keep going back to him... Even with knowing that he's hard as hell to get ahold of, I still recommend him to everyone I know and wouldn't hesitate to have him do more work for me if I ever should need it. There's a lot of people bitching in here, but how many people also had good results that aren't speaking up?

Mike's had my trans for quite awhile (probably longer than most of the people on here bitching) The reason he's had it so long is cuz of "The Big Dogs" Needing they're shit for the No Et races. I knew that when i dropped it off that it was gonna take awhile due to John's, Brians and the million other trans's sitting there.
Last week Mike calls me and tells me my trans/converter is done. My dumb ass spent the money on other parts and cannot pay him...shit! What do i do now??
I tell Mike the truth and his response to me was........."Come pick it up and pay me when u get the money" WTF??? When can you find a Custom Trans Builder like that?
Most of the trans guys i've met (Besides Mike and Rich) have been cocky, expensive assholes.

I talked to Mike myself the other day (when this all started).......He was very upset and worked his ass off to get Reiko's stuff done so he could make it right.
For those of you who don't know Mike....SHUT UP! He's not a crook....just overwhelmed!

Mike is a good guy who let some people down. I haven't heard anybody speak badly of his work. I have one of his converters and it does exactly what he said it would. Mike, you just need to be straight with people and all will be well.

Reiko is a personal friend of mine, and for sure he had a bad experience. Mike has always hooked me up though, he's done the trans and converter in both my cars, and he did the rear end in my black car. His stuff has worked awesome for me so far, and his customer service has been very good as well.
