First of the year I contacted Mike and asked him what would be the best transmission for my application and what he would recommend… He told me what he though and which two ways I would go… I went with it and decided to try it out… TH-400… Billy badass of them all… I told him from the beginning… No stock parts… All good parts… Nothing CHEAP… Let me know how much for everything… Flywheel… Torque Converter…. Transmission… He gave me a price… I said no problem… I gave him a deposit at the end of January beginning of February… He told me it would take him a few weeks to order the parts and build it… I said no problem… Well two weeks went by… I called him in the middle of February… I said how is it going… He told me great… Gave me the whole deal that everything is good and that everything will be set… I told him I need the transmission by beginning of March… And that I’m going to give him the rest of the amount in cash to speed things up… And that I need this transmission by March… He said no problem… I met up with him… Talked to him a bit about it all… Gave him the rest in cash… He said it will be done… Wrong…
March comes a long and I call him up to get a status… He said it’s almost done and that he’s waiting for the bell housing from JW… He said once he gets it… Everything will be good… I said okay… Another week goes by… I asked where the bell housing is… He tells me JW fucked up and sent the wrong one… Problem is he says that I can’t get the bell housing for a while since JW is moving inventory and I can’t get the bell housing for a few weeks… I said fine… No big deal… I can be patient…
April comes… Nothing… No bell housing… Nothing… Ridings blames JW… I call JW up myself… Explain the situation… They say he’s wrong… And that something isn’t right… So I let it be for now… So this is about the second week into April… He calls me up out of the blue and tells me he’s going to order an ATI piece… I said fine… Just get it done… I want the transmission now… He said he’s on it… Well another week goes by… He tells me now he’s ordered it and now he’s waiting on the valve body???!?!? I thought he had all the pieces together?!?!
Now we are in May… No bell housing… No valve body supposedly… Nothing… I tell him look get with the program and let’s get this going… I need this transmission back… Second week in May he calls me again saying Valve body will be here in a few days… And then we will have to get the bell housing and be done with it…
I’m getting sick of this… About this time I call 91trunk… Explained everything and explained what happened… I asked him to call him to help him a long in anything Ridings needed… 91trunk calls and calls me back and let’s me know what’s up…
At this point I’m getting pissed… No trans… Nothing… He calls me middle/end of May and tells me he’s got the valve body… Now all we need is the Bell housing?!??! Are you fucking kidding me now?!?! What happened to ATI!?! Oh he says ATI piece won’t work… We HAVE TO USE JW… I said okay… Nothing for the rest of May…
June comes and I call him up… Where the fuck is my trans… Where is my T.C.?!?!? He says that JW shipping the wrong bell housing and that he is going to machine it to fit?!?!? I told him NO… DO NOT MACHINE… Send it back and get the right bell housing… I’m not putting it on if it needs machining… He said it’s going to take another week… I said I don’t care… Overnight it and get me my parts… He said okay… Parts weren’t overnighted… They were shipped ground… He gave me some tracking number… It was sent out Monday and he received it Friday from somewhere in FL? WTF? Finally he gets the bell housing… I didn’t get the trans till END OF JUNE… But no T.C.?!?!?
Now this doesn’t end… I decieded to forgive and forget…

I told him I want to order this valve body for the trans… And that I want to upgrade and pay the difference… He said okay… He said no problem… He said he will order it… I’ll bring him the transmission… He said fine… No problem… He ordered the valve body and a few days later he calls me telling me he needs the money to pay for the part??? I said no I’ll pay you when you get the part and finish the job… He said then the part isn’t going to get accept… It’s COD and I don’t’ have the cash… I said fine come get the money from my store…
He comes and gets the money from my store... He takes off and gets the valve body... I told him to come get my trans swap it out and bring it right back... He said no problem...
I didn't get my fucking trans back till mid august... And I gave it to him in beginning of JULY!!!!!
But that's not the best part...
He took fucking parts out of my god damn trans to finish another job... Calls me up... Says "Hey dude I had to borrow some of your parts to finish this other transmission..."
I didnt' say nothing... I couldn't... I was going nuclear at that point and just wanted my shit back....
Then he tells me.... "Dont' worry... Instead of using the stock drum like I had in your transmission... I bought you a steel drum..."
I told him I TOLD YOU TO GET ME ALL THE BEST PARTS PERIOD NO STOCK SHIT!!! WHAT THE FUCK AM I PAYING FOR?!?!? I TOLD YOU BEST PARTS!!!!
He tells me don't worry... He tells me... Everything is good... Billet straight cut gears... All the best shit...
In the back of my mind I'm thinking... He put a stock drum in it to begin with... What the fuck else did he do that I don't know about...
I'm not a transmission guy... I don't know what the fuck to look at... I trusted this guy and this trust went out the fucking window back when he told me stock drum...
The reason for this thread was he told me my T.C. was going to be done with the transmission... It never was...
He then told me my T.C. would be done the second time with the trans... It never was...
He told me the T.C. was going to be done in a few days... Then a few weeks...
This was fucking monthes ago....
I kept this to myself hoping this would be made right... I told my g/f.... My best friends... Few things here and there... Not trying to bad mouth him... Not trying to ruin him...
