yea well you but your trans off a guy who had all stock shit put in to save money!
my trans has all bte compents you pay for what you get! i have about 2500 in my trans would have been more but i got cheap and still using the stock case! lol


i think the trans you bought he had 900 in it? (stock gear set-input shaft-etc!) mikey you were making way too much power for stock shit!

Mine has stock shit too. Case, gear set, etc. Oh and a blanket! lol

If you're talking about my trans that I bought from Bud, It was was suppose to have all TCI stuff and handle 1000HP w/ a 1.80 gearset! I didn't have anything put in it to save money!!! I sold it as what I was told it was!

As I stated before, I didn't know Matt had already tried to take care of this for him without resolve. Nothing was posted in the mod forum about it. Read what I wrote before you lay into me about it. And did you see me, or any other mod lock this thread at any time?

Yea, that's what I heard. He had it on the shelf and told me what it was! I bought it and it worked awesome for my slow s10. Not sure if he got it on a deal and was miss informed or what?! Alls I know is that I would have him put another together for me. From scratch... That way I know he will stand behind! Awesome guy that does incredible work, I'd recommend him to anyone! :thumbsup:

It was supposed to be all TCI stuff, Im not mad anymore, I just learned my lesson on buying stuffed used. Fullthrottle paid for stuff he didnt get, Im just the one thats wallet found out about it. Now I got a bad bitch !!!

It's called the whoop ass mod for the SRT... Still FWD... Just has a different drivetrain configuration...

i had the same problems as people in this thread with riddings, way late but nice guy, WAY WAY late. but when i got on here, when i was having my problems, the same people in this thread that are having problems were defending riddings, i find this funny. i gave mike more than one chance to fix my trans leak, first time, it leaked right away, pulled it out, he took it again, 2nd time leaked again. on the 3rd or fourth time i just had him rebuild it, guaranteed not to leak.......... still leaks to this day. never, ever had a problem with joels. i learned the hard way. seems others have too.

I won't Bash Brian but I've had 4 TTA's (including an 81) and each 89 has had the trans done at least twice. Brian did 3 of them, Mike did two and some BS shop I didn't know any better than not to take a TTA to back when I first got my first one did one. Mikes are running pretty strong I just think the Z28 shifts a bit weak and the TTA is WAY to hard. (that's why I've been trying to get in touch with mike for servos) The Z28's trans had WAY less than 500 miles on it before it started flaring and VERY limited stoplight action. (I think the TV cable was mis adjusted, not Brains fault) The TTA I do beat on on occasion and the input shaft snapped. Cant Blame Brian for that it just kinda sucked.

ive sent a couple people his way, he jsut doesnt answer an lies, jsut tell the truth so we could A. take it some where else or B. no when to do certain things so we could have to go ahead an do other things so when the trans is "supposed"to be done that its not affecting everything else involved

I agree to a certain degree. It can get out of control where people make assumptions or false claims and say it's legit. When in reality, it's one side of the story. I've watched this happen on different sites. In the end, if the shop was in the right, their names were cleared, but by then the damage is already done and their name is dragged through the mud for no reason.

BTW: I am not saying this is the case with this thread, I don't know the whole story. But I've watched it happen in other threads on different sites where it turned out the customer was either exaggerating or not telling the whole story. The site admins getting the whole story is really important before throwing mud. If a shop or person is dirty or screwed someone over, then it should get called out. But it better be 100% true before it's made public. Again, this is completely unrelated to Reiko's problem. I'm just replying to Joe.

There is no fuckin way your refering to me on this one. I had to pull that fucking trans more goddamn times than I want to remember......... AND THE MOTHERFUCKER STILL FUCKING LEAKS!!!! So much for his awesome work! Badass shit? Fuck that! I even caught the fucker in LIES. told me what was changed. Gaskets, drum blah blah blah took it all apart replaced every gasket...... Some how he managed to find the paint code of the case, and over spray the gaskets on The tail housing, all without not getting a drop of paint on the case!!! And the LAST time he had it to rebuild. I got it back, with out a input shaft! Did I mention already that the mother fucker still leaks!!!

I came on here asking if anyone seen him and briefly got into whAT was going on and I was slammed! Everyone defending him!

And just so I can be very clear. Brian hoffer DOES NOT BUILD TRANSMISSIONS. he takes them to a guy named rich, who is also friends with riddings. I believe rich is outta flint. Not positive. I had one of his cards before.

And my trans still fucking leaks

Joel might be a dick crackhead. But it fucking works. I go with customer service over price anyday........ Unless it comes to stuff working and not working
