Oooh. Even better yet - rush, rush, rush, punt! :rolleyes: Way to go for the kill! :pow:
And, another one. I'm shocked by LLLLLoyd's conservative play calling. :Yawn:

I prefer mustard! ;) I'm glad they are going to win but it doesn't make me dislike LLLLLoyd any less.

The game was on at the gym today. It was hilarious watching all the dumb shits stand around looking up at the TV's while they should have been working out. What idiots! I went and asked for the remote to the TV(s) in each section I was working out in and I changed the channel in each section. I got sick of people standing around getting in my way, so I changed the channel to what they were watching. :lol:

One guy was like, "what the hell, man?" I told him to go home and watch TV and get out of the way of the people who were lifting. He just shook his head and walked to another TV.

Not really. I dislike LLLLLoyd Carr! I think he needs to go. In fact, I think he never should have been the coach. The '97 team won the national title in spite of him, not because of him. A team consistently loaded with that much talent shouldn't average 3 losses per season. Coaches at Ohio State, Nebraska, Miami, etc. get fired when they start to average more than 2 losses per season. :dontknow:

At least LLLLLoyd is a "Michigan Man". :rolleyes:

Dude, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

You are kidding right?

1995 = 4 losses
1996 = 4 losses
1997 = 0 losses
1998 = 3 losses
1999 = 2 losses
2000 = 3 losses
2001 = 4 losses
2002 = 3 losses
2003 = 3 losses
2004 = 3 losses
2005 = 5 losses

You can honestly tell me that impresses you considering we have one of the most talented teams in the NCAA year in and year out? I don't know, maybe your expectations are lower than mine? :dontknow: If he had that record at a Nebraska, Miami, Notre Dame, etc., he would have been fired several years ago. :dontknow: At least he runs a clean program. :lol: I love that one.

In Lloyd's 9 years there, they've had 5 top 10 finishes, 5 Big Ten titles (97,98,00,03,04), a National Championship (97), been to three Rose Bowls and an Orange Bowl. They've been to 9 straight bowl games in his career. He's currently 106-34 for about a 76% winning percentage.

Other than their meltdown in the last bowl game (which they were 10 yards and a lateral away from winning) the two previous losses bowl losses were to USC and Texas. You've heard of them, right?

Bill Callahan, the current Nebraska coach is 13-10
Larry Coker has had back to back 9-3 seasons, including a 41?-3 blowout bowl loss against LSU
Tressel has had success, but has also had a 4 loss and a five loss season, just like Lloyd.

Reggie Bush is getting busted for all kinds of illegal gifts, money, etc.
OSU had it happen with Maurice Clarett. Miami Football players gangrape girls and write/perform rap songs about it. Nebraska was on probation a few years ago.

Can any of that be said for Michigan?

LLLoyd is actually in his 11th year. Yes, he has been to a bowl game every season but with the number of bowls now a days plus the number of Big 10 bowl tie-ups, he'd pretty much have to have a losing season in order to not go to a bowl game.

I don't hate LLLoyd Carr. I just think there are better coaches out there than him and with the talent we have year in and year out, I think we would have an even better record than we have had over the last 10 full seasons.

With that, I'm done with this thread! :)

Just because Lloyd runs a clean program doesn't mean he's a good coach. That just means he's very good at keeping discipline on his teams. How many times as Michigan backed there way into a bowl game? Only reason they went is because another team lost and allowed us to go. Other than that, we would be at cheap bowl games. How many bowl games has he lost? Need I remind you of Texas 2 years ago? Ask any Texas fan who should have won that game. Most true sports fans will say Michigan hands down, BUT Lloyd wanted to go conservative with only a small lead. I was at the UM/OSU game last year. Talk about pathetic coaching! Coaches are known for their records against the rivals. Look at Cooper. When he was fired, what was the main reason they had listed? He never could beat Michigan. Lloyd has beat OSU how many times since Cooper left? once? if I'm correct. Now add in the losses to teams that there's no way we should have lost to and you have a typical season. Trust me. We won't make it to OSU without at least one loss, and there's not a team between here and there that should even remotely beat us.

You do realize that schools cant be good every single year. Henne was a sophmore last year, as was Hart. And a lot of talent comes and goes. This will be a bad year for USC and Texas, and a good year for OSU and U of M. MARK MY WORD.........U OF M WILL BEAT OSU THIS YEAR.

Believe me. i want the best for the U of M. I just don't see it happening under Carr. He might get them a national championship, BUT I don't see it happen. I'm not saying the wolverines suck. I'm saying that their coaching staff isn't up to the talent level that they have.

you know other people pay to use the gym & if they want to watch TV while there you have no right to change the channel on them. one day you might just get a plate upside the head for being so selfish

I highly doubt that will happen, but they are more than welcome to try. I don't care if they watch TV, but for 5+ people to stand right in front of the weight rack and/or equipment I'm on, they are then interfering and need to get the fuck out of the way.

I am as big of a Michigan fan as there is, but I still think that Carr makes some poor decisions sometimes. I am not saying he is a horrible coach, but I am not going to say he is great either. Michigan looked really good yesterday and I'm glad they won and did it so convincingly. They dominated ND and they looked great on both sides of the ball. But at the same time, there were times when the conservative play looked like they were going to let ND back into it. It didn't end up that way thankfully, but did you watch the drive that ND made at the end of the first half?? That's the kind of conservative play that we are talking about that can end up losing you games. I don't know how many times in the last few years I have watched when Michigan should have won a game but blew it in the second half because of that same conservative play. Just look at last years OSU game, perfect example. Look at how they were dominating ND, then look at that last drive of the first half that gave them some momentum going into the half. It never should have been that easy for them to march down the field like that. They weren't doing shit the whole game until then, so what changed? The way Michigan played defense on that drive. I am not trying to pick out the bad of a great win, but if you can't see mistakes like this that will end up costing them eventually, you need to OPEN YOUR EYES.

It will be interesting to see where Michigan get's ranked after this one. They should be at least in the top ten. Then again, if they had played a real team, and not a pansy last week, they might have a legitimate claim on top five.

Lloyd is 6-4 vs OSU lifetime. Sure Tressel's had success, but Lloyd started off just as hot. Lloyd started off 5-1 vs. OSU. It's a game of streaks. Dolt.
