About 15 years ago when Trans Am was big, Rocketsports was run out of Lansing. They were owned by Paul Genelozzi who was a driver along with Darren Brassfield.

Before Scott Brayton was killed at Indy during a '500' practice, the race team was based out of Coldwater, MI.

Anything related to NASCAR is in VA and NC. Most Indy Car teams are based out of Indy or Columbus, OH.

SCCA World Challenge, American LeMans and IMSA teams are spead out throughout the country. GM is heavily invloved in World Challenge with Corvette and Cadillac CTS's. I'd bet both teams are in MI. Check out all three series on the net and check out the driver and team bios.
 
terry cook's truck team used to be in auburn hills. Brad kesoloski<sp I beleive is there now. Kay automotive

they do graphics I think but the the nascar truck team used to be based there when teery cook raced for powerstroke. then the crew cheif's son Brad kesolowski<sp started driving it. I don't know whats happening now since he is driving nationwide for little E
