anybody tell me whether MI still doesnt do tailpipe/visual inspections, and are they in the process of changing that. I used to register my truck there because it couldnt pass NY inspection, visual or otherwise, and i have another vehicle where im in the same boat, i was in the birmingham area before, and i still have the same address available to me

thanks 4 the quick reply

Sweet, and i hope it isnt going to change in the near future, cause i backed myself into a corner, again...

The EPA keeps threatening, but Michigan keeps balking. It seems that the worst counties in Michigan for air pollution are all very sparsely populated near the Indiana border and Lake Michigan, coincidently, the closest ones to Gary Indiana.

Even if they do implement it, it was only going to be hooking up to your computer and making sure all your tests were passed in your PCM (only OBDII cars). If you have a decent tuner, those are pretty easy to get around (you just have to keep your O2's). It wasn't going to be a sniffer or dyno test.
