Meth/Water injection w/ blow through carb?

Has anyone tried meth/water injection with a blow through carb?

I'm building a 347 YSi combo with a CSU carb and I'm considering meth/water injection.

It seems like you'd have to blow it in there somewhere after the carb or it would just land on the carb body and drip into the manifold.

Any thoughts?
 
depends on the carb. Those new sculpted bodies do a pretty good job of organizing and atomizing air. Why not just run on alky ? I would look at using a nitrous plate to spray it. easy jetting to.
 
Running on straight alcohol is a little too much of a pain for me. I want to still drive on the street mostly and be able to fill up at the pump.

I was considering E85 though. From what I understand I'll have to rejet my carb for that though as it's setup for gas and E85 needs more flow.

I thought about using a nitrous plate for the meth/water but I don't know what I'd jet it at and I'm concerned if it would atomized the mix properly.

I looked on the snow performance site and they make a 1" space to go under the carb with a tapped hole to put the spray nozzle into so I guess if I was really hell bent on putting it after the carb I could do it that way.
 
I hear you. With e85 you might want to make sure the carb has the feed circutry capable of doing it. I would run the snow plate. Seems like the easy thing to do.
 
My carb was put together by CSU so I guess I should asked about this before I bought it. Isn't it like 20% more jets/flow required for E85?
