Meet our new Dog

That's a nice looking dog too. I want to get a dog that people would make strangers think twice of coming up the driveway/front door, but I do NOT want a pit, or a rott. My friend has a rott, and she's a great great dog, but I sometimes still get a little weird around her. She's gentle, but has that look, ya know? I just think a German Shepard would be the best thing. I was scared of that one as a kid obviously, because we were all around 6-10 years old.

I have a bull terrior (close enough to a pit) and hes is a big baby same with all the pits that I have ever come into contact with. It's all on the owner

Yeah, mostly hip problems from what I've heard SVT32DOHC

I read that. That's too bad. I hate seeing any dog suffer. The Cocker Spaniel we found in the woods in Brighton lived to be roughly 12-14. Don't really know cause he was a stray, but the last 2 years he suffered with a tumor in the colon. so pooping and peeing was VERY hard for him. My parents spent a ton to keep him going the last 2 years.

I don't have anything against them. It's a great looking dog, my uncle had one that LOVED us (when we were little kids) and never harmed anyone or anything. He lived a long time too. Many people have great ones, I just wouldn't want to get a bad one. It's a personal thing, I think, I just don't think I could trust one, even if I owned it. Any dog can turn, but you just hear about pit bulls turning the most. And sometimes they just get a bad wrap, that's all. They are some of the cutest puppies around.

Many people just don't want to deal with the stigma, fair or unfair.
good luck with your new pup, she's beautiful. That stud is awesome.

Exactly. I just don't want to deal with a-holes that say..."Oh you got a pit bull....you know, you really gotta watch those things." I hate getting speeches like that from people.
