mechanic schools

yes... aim high... he can always fall back on hands on skills as a repair tech at a dealership, BUT if he chooses to go the corporate route and work for a manufacturer, hes already set up with a great educational foundation with no extra schooling required. when my enlistment is up, i am going back to school and back to working on cars. my G.I. bill will get me 36 months (i think) of most expenses paid school. plus a huge resume builder is military (with the rights job, luckily mine is aviation electronics) im about to recert my ASE cert for the 2nd/3rd time this spring.

The HFCC/Ford ASSET program is a pretty good program. My brother completed it, worked at a dealer for a while, then got a job with fomoco, he isn't doing too bad.
