And no shit he'd lose in the UFC. Conor wanted this fight, he got it.

Tyson and Mayweather wouldn't have fought due to weight class.
 
If you saw the rules at the beginning. ..it said its only an official fight once it goes past 4 rounds. I though that was wierd...
 
I thought McGregor did a great job. A lot better than I thought he would. Either that or Mayweather was sand bagging in the early rounds, which is also possible.

Regardless, it was an entertaining fight, and of course I made free money from it lol
 
Wow. I must have seen a different fight. Nothing entertaining. Snoozefest. Hugging and dancing around for 9 rounds. All that hype for nothing.
 
If the first two rounds were combined with the last couple rounds, it would've been very entertaining... short, but entertaining.

Just curious, was this the first Mayweather fight you've seen? If so, now you know why UFC exploded over the last 15 years. More action.
 
As soon as it was stopped I knew McGregor would say he wasn't hurt...just tired. After all his shit-talking I wished they would've let him get pummeled for at least another round.

I can appreciate McGregor's talent, but he constantly runs his mouth...and that gets old for me.

I think Mayweather played it safe through the first few rounds. McGregor was never going to last 12 rounds, so all he had to do was not get tagged in the first 6 rounds. After that, he just had to get a couple hits in to finish off a very tired opponent. I got irritated with how often Mayweather just turned his back or ducked down. He didn't run in circles, but he avoided any real fighting by making it essentially illegal to take a swing at him.

I agree, but that's definitely a fine enough strategy. It's all about winning.
