Maybe I am a Boomer...

I don't know, I'm kinda of just done with getting gouged downtown. Took the kids to monster jam this weekend. The fees were more than the tickets, they way they were directing traffic we couldn't get to the parking garage and got hit with $50 parking which was what I saw on most of the lots including greektown. Then 13$ beers, $10 popcorn etc. I was driving home and as much as the kids liked it I just had a terrible feeling about it.

I felt the same going to Auto Rama ... $20 for parking plus $25 to get in ....
 
For LCA, you can usually get a spot right on Woodward and just walk a few blocks. Pay with the Detroit parking App. Worst I had to walk was from almost MLK, but it was only $2 for the night.
