Tried to get Kid Rock tickets for LCA in July. Cheapest I could find were $300 each so ended up passing. WTF? It's not that I don't have the money, its just is Kid Rock worth a $700+ night with my wife? I love the guy, but that is a LOT.

So maybe I am a boomer. I don't know...

The same thing happened with Blink 182. As someone who likes concerts and cheaper concert tickets, LCA is really screwing it up for music fans. Once enough people skip on going to shows, they will readjust the prices.

My problem with a lot of these "experience" things is that they're way off what a sensible person should pay.

Like why would you spend $1000 for a few hours of fun? That's very expensive in dollars per fun.

Outside of detroit hes not a big deal

Last summer he played in Cincinnati , it was under $100 for 2 tickets the day of the show . To me that's fair to sit though a Kid Rock show

In my opinion single artist concerts are priced FAR above what anyone should have to pay. I went to Linkin Park/Incubus concert before they tore down the palace. It was $65 a ticket (Bought in advance). Yet my "Louder than life" 4 day wrist band was $350(Bought in advance).

I get that they've got their expenses and have to make money. But I think there's a point where they've got to say "Hey, lets put 3 or 4 more artists on stage" to split the expenses, and cut ticket cost (Or make the current cost more realistic)

First show is sold out.
I guess you have to like his music... politics aside I think his shows are great.

I totally agree! It is a good time. Just a few years ago you could get $20 tickets all day at Pine Knob! He even bragged about selling the hill at $20! Crazy.

You only got paid just under $100 to have to sit through a show. Not worth it to me. It would cost wayyyyyy more to make me sit through that kind of torture.

You aren't a boomer, you just respect your money. I am sorry, but $700 for a night out at a just a concert is ridiculously amount of wasted money. I work hard for my money, so to pull $700 from my pocket to hear a bunch of songs and be around shitty people(full disclosure I think everyone is shitty) is never going to happen.

It would be more worth it if he was playing shit from Polyfuze Method or something. But that guy has just gone to political for me in his songs, and while him and I are on the same side politically I am not going to pay that kind of money just to hear someone sing about it.

Just looked at the second show - tons of tickets for $79.50. Place is less than half sold. Might end up going after all!

I didn't think they went on sale till friday.

If you go through kid rocks website, it automatically connects you to the presale. No code required. Not sure if you have to be registered on the website or not. It was just giving them your email, though, regardless.

The company my son works for hired Kid Rock for their private Christmas
party 2 years ago.

Photo he took from that night...
