Maybe a good quote's thread?

They come out the most in the threads where there is a lot of back and forth arguing, but when you are not in the mix, you notice and find some damn good, quotable comments. Along the vein of the "Please Delete Hangemhigh" thread, and "random pics you take with your phone", I suggest - notable quotes. Let's see where this goes. I'll submit the first one, which happens to be from jsxtreme Post away!

Jsxtreme should credit big daddy kane for that quote since it was featured in the song the symphony released in 1988.

Daddy Kane should be giving me royalties, bc I've never listened to that shit.

Still hoping to steer the thread in that direction, but it's currently on a path of its own.

I had another one someone had in their sig for a long time, but I cant remember it now.

"The fishermen know that the sea is dangerous and the storm terrible, but they have never found these dangers sufficient reason for remaining ashore." - Van Gogh

Sam Ford "Henry will be in the poor house and never amount to anything. Every time I send Henry out to the field with a team of horses and a plow he goes to the end of the field hitches the horses to the fence post and plays with a junk tin can and a cork."

"Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime" - Mark Twain

"No man in the wrong can stand up against a fellow that's in the right an' keeps on a-comin'." TX Ranger Capt. W.J. McDonald

“Do you ever wonder why fishermen put bait on the hook? Well, let me tell you why. Because the fish doesn’t give a f— about you. The fish has his own agenda, which does not include getting in your boat and feeding your ass or getting you some money. It’s not on his list of things to do. You, on the other hand, need the fish. So it’s incumbent on you to motivate the fish, and it’s incumbent on you to know what that fish likes. And they don’t all like the same thing, which is your f—ing problem too. If you are smart enough to know something about the f—ing fish and where he resides and you put the right bait on, he might get off his ass and help you.” - Gordon Bethune
