Most of the time im not one to share my issues with people, as I dont like to ask for pitty... But damn, how may more issues will I need to over come? In 2010 I was diagnosed with an issue that took 27 months, 6 doctors and 12 different meds to figure out. During the last 27 months, My sister went thru a nasty divorce, lost her house and had to file BK. Along with that, my Mom fell in a Wallgreens, ending up in the hospital for days, my Grandfather who was my best buddy, died unexpecte and While feeling like total shit for over 2 years, I had to make it thru the worst economey that must of us have ever and will ever see!!!!

3 months ago, a short time after I start to feel better, I get a certified letter from the IRS that says I need to come in for a audit. Because of a mistake by my CPA, the outcome was me writing a check for 13k. By by savings. It was nice to flip houses and give back more than I made!!!

Now for the worst issue in the last 2 years.. My wife, 28 has been having what we thought was digestive issues over the last few years, this is what we were told it was by 4 doctors. So I do a mortgage for a local Dr who specializes in this type of stuff, we go see him last week and he wants to do a CT SCAN to check and make sure all is good. We go in today for the results, and my wife has a Tumor in her stomach as big as an egg that the Dr is saying has been there for 4 to 5 years. Now my wife has to have major surgery that has a 6 to 8 week recovery.

What the hell else can go on? I know others have more issues than I, but damn, this has not been a fun 3 years.

Sorry for the rant guys, just need to vent my frustrations today :)

Praying for you and especially for your wife. If there is anything I can do to help out please let me know.

Steve,

I really hope things turn around for you. You are too good of a person to have all this going wrong for you.

I wish your wife a quick recovery, and hope things in general turn around for you soon. It seems like when things go bad, its one hit after another.

you're a good guy steve, and eventually things will turn around. i had a similar surgery as your wife back in the fall of '11, and the recovery is long but it shouldn't be too painful for her.

good luck to you and your family, man!

Thanks a ton. Shoot me a pm when you can, just wondering about your surgery. Thanks again

Steve you're not alone. My family will be praying as well.
Please post when your wife goes for her surgery, we'll
lift her up in prayer then as well!

God bless you folks.

Speedy recovery to your wife and things are going to BD on the up n up bud!

After my dad bring hit with lung cancer and other complications , he's still here with us gratefully . Your wife will be good in no time!

Steve, I'll keep you and your wife in my thoughts and prayers. I know exactly how your feeling.....you know my situation, and as much as it could be much worse, I still can relate to that helpless feeling. That no matter how hard you work or how good you try and be to others and yourself, life still hits hard. You and your family will make it through, and be stronger for it! Give me a call or email if you need anything. I took on a second job, but if you need any help with any properties or manual labor I'll be there if I'm not working.

SOrry to Hear Steve. Hope the wife does well. On a side note, my mother went through the same issues a few years back. Was the size of softball once they figured out what was going on. She made it through no problems. Best wishes!

I've been having a few years like that too, so you're not alone; and since I don't have any friends for the most part except for the peeps on here, I do the same. It may be no real relief, but sometimes I tend to look at the "well it could be worse" side of things.

Example- A few weeks back my 12 year old (who I've been funnelling THOUSANDS towards a good psychiatrist for her severe depression) decided to try to hang herself at school. Didn't work, and she told us she did it, and we sent her to a hospital for mental cases. Turns out, she has a massive chemical imbalance in her brain (makes less than 10% of the chemicals that make us stable and happy.) They took her off those meds she was on, put her on the proper ones, and she's like a new kid only 3 weeks out. So in this case you can see how it "could have been worse." There's no worse case than your grandpa, but your sister could have had it worse and she's still alive, so maybe try to look on that side.

IF that doesn't work, drink a 12 pack and smoke a HUGE bowl and you'll feel right as rain. Doctors orders. ;)

-Good luck bro, feel free to vent.

-Brian.
