Macomb county gun board

For those of you who got your CPL in Macomb County, I got my date to go in front of the gun board. Just wondering what I should expect?

Just went to mine last Friday. Kindia a waste of a day off of work but oh well..They call your name, you walk up sit down. They say why did you apply for your ccw permit?, you tell them "personal protection". They ask if you ever had a personal protection order filed against you, have you ever had any mental issues, have you taken your ccw training class, and where did u take it at. They say ok and hand you your permit. Its easy...in and out within 15 minutes

It's easy. A co-worker did it recently with Macomb gun board. They just asked him questions they already knew answers to.

did it in june, its easy enough. kind of a waste of tax payer dollars if you ask me
 
my boss went into his, they asked him why he needed a license, everybody before him said " personnal protection....blah blah blah..." His answer was "because its my constitutional right".

Mine wasn't even that involved.

Them: Why are you requesting a CPL?
Me: Personal Protection
Them: OK, sign over there.

Done.

yep 110 bucks IIRC...in and out in 15 mins..filled out the app, fingerprints, pictures..
I actually didnt know that macomb required an interview..
how long do they take to get the license out?

they hand it to you right there as soon as you have answered all their questions.
