I should have really put some NOS pressure to it in the am but I made 2 soft passes at 8.92 and 8.98 at 154mph. I looked around online and found a HP calculator and it stated to make my car go that fast I was making 950 RWHP and 1120 on the crank.
Sean's car is a little heavier and I figurd his to be making 1170 RWHP and 1350 on the crank. Definetly explains why the rods let go in his mill.

That must be an engine builder's calculator lol...I would guess I was around 1100 at the crank. And the rods let go because of lack of oil it looks like. Eagle rods will take 1400+ hp all day from what I've seen and read from various budget racers. I was pushing the limits but hey it went fast for a set of USED eagle rods, used stock crank, used block, and stock oiling setup.

lol no they were new L19's chuck wouldn't let me re-use the old ones! hahaha j/k

I think I'll be using it for mock-up...but if not, not a problem. :icon_mrgr
 
come on Scott i went a .137 to your .105, i still run the stock tack and have over 8 inches of clutch travel to overcome before the car moves an inch. and no i don't side step the clutch

best light i have ever cut on a 400 tree has been a .113 @ N vs S this year, so that is about as quick as i get. that is me lighting bulbs and going back to my stock tach to check the launch rpm and then it is pretty much green by that point ,lol! i will gladly nap like that on a 400 tree.
