The way they set up those cars to run a number they could have made throwing that race way less obvious. Take the number you think the track will hold and add a couple tenths for insurance. Set Ashley's car up to run that number. Set John's car up to run a tenth or two slower. Sure you're not planning for cylinders going out then but you have to leave something to chance.

How many times did Tony Pedregon have to tank for John Force when Tony was part of Force racing? John must have finally felt guilty and helped him win a FC title. Unfortunately, team orders suck. Don't see that too much in Pro Stock. Line took out Anderson this weekend.
