Lt1 idle problems..

Got a 94 z28 that idles at 1300 all the time even after warmed up, anybody know how to bring it down.. Already replaced the Throttle position sensor as well..

True but i don`t think it made it idle higher ......it just leaked oil out the back right ??
Did you try and adjust your blades on the throttle body ? You need a allen wench and its on top near the cable......
 
Take the IAC out and see if its jammed in the fully retracted position.If you let a car sit for a while sometimes the IAC motor will freeze into position. If your unsure of where the IAC is sitting snap a pic and throw it up here.
 
Yea i know where its at, that was my next thing to check.. i know u cant adjust it by a throtle screw because it says the ecu will just correct it right back..
 
Reset the Iac motor. Theres a how to on shoeboxes website. I had the same problem with my car. Years ago I had to replace the IAC motor like Sean said, thats also very likely. Eric L
