lt1 harmonic balancer

I need to replace my lt1 harmonic balancer and was wondering if there's a better alternative to the stocker. I thought I recall someone mentioning that the ls1 balancer will also work. I'm not looking for anything expensive since the car isn't extensively modified but just considering options.
 
Do a search on Camaroz28.com and LS1tech.com. Lotta info there about it.

I have an ATI Superdamper for my high-end LT1 build, but this was also partially because it was necessitated by the blower pulleys/brackets that I have. For a more mild build, I chose to just find a good stocker. I found too many stories of the cheaper ones failing, and the cheapest a decent one is going to be is $250-300 from what I remember. Some people have concerns about the rubber in the stockers breaking down since they're now 13y/o at the newest, but I'd rather take my chances with than then spend $100-150 on one and have it fail. Tons of people run the stock one and are just fine.
 
Thx for the reply. A buddy on another forum (fbody.com) actually informed me that he has his old one lying around and will ship it up to me. :)
