LSX time???

Ive got a Glenns tank that would probably be perfect for you if youre interested. Was over $400 new, I got it from webleedorange. It has a -10AN feed and a -8 return, with a stealthy front sump so you cant see it from behind. Make an offer, its brand new, only been used for mockup

The only concern I have with front sump is running it dry when you're on the throttle. Without say 1/2 a tank, if you pull the tires, the possibility is there.

a1000, weldon 2015 ect. theres a few single pumps out there that are streetable and support good power

I've heard bad things about A1000s recently and most stating they don't support nearly the power they claim they do.

Our sleeper tank has a custom internal sump built into the tank. It features a 3/4" feed tube fed to the rear of the internal sump and the return tube feeds the returned fuel to the front part of the baffles in the internal sump. This insures constant fuel supply to your pump(s)and Can be ran to (E).

i juat wanted to update that today i dropped the tank, all lines and fittings were secure, all pumps were working as they should, tested individually. fuel filter was clean along with fuel pump socks. i went to a few reputable tuners/shops today and cut one of my only in tact plugs apart and here is a pic, i asked for their professional opinion and I WAS TOLD it was too hot of a plug with way too much fuel causing preignition. they asked why the plugs were not checked after a dyno pull to make sure everything is good. as i was told by these tuners after any dyno pull or 2 plugs are pulled to check and make sure they dont need to be changed out. well that never happened with my car, now i know for next time. but i feel as if they should have been checked after a dyno pull, thats why i brought it somewhere to be tuned because my knowledge lacks in that field. but i feel some lazyness has a factor with this imo of not checking plugs to be sure. all 3 tuners i talked to said its a must to check plugs after a pull to make sure everything is in check. Im just slowly eliminating things like the fuel system being bad, mind you this system has supported on a mustang dyno a car making close to 1000 to the tire, my car realistically only would need 2 of these pumps to make the power it did, if if one failed, which it didnt, i probly wouldnt even notice.

Im just relaying info from other professionals about what they can tell from my plugs. and the 1 plug that was cut apart. one of the professionals is a sponsor here on motown also.

The tuners today? i dont remember the exact number/name but was just told part of tuning a car is to check plugs and change accordingly. I was told it should have been a couple ranges colder.

I dont know how to tune, or read plugs ect, so i asked some professionals. i feel this is what the tuner is for. if they were checked and there was a concern i would have changed them no problem, so a set of unchecked plugs cost me another motor imo.

autolight 103's to get it fired up. no im waiting on a cherry picker. i only dropped the tank to check my fuel system. just got off the phone with another engine builder/tuner and was also told thats pre ignition from too much fuel and too hot of a plug.

im almost positive it will need new slugs and a new block.

i also called around and asked some shops when you tune a car do you check the plugs after a pull as a tuner, i was told yes thats part of the tuning process. i also asked a few friends and their plugs got checked also to make sure everything good on the dyno.

Well after making it past the grade school fight i made it to the end.

im going to say your block is junk your pistons are junk and your head needs to be welded up

Glenns tanks are nice i got away from the triple pumps and went with a single

ive tried different af the last one was 11:1 and 17 degrees didn't hurt any plugs but burned thru the head gasket and melted a piston and hurt 2 others on c16

My best guess is this isnt a tuner issue its a coolant issue.

How are you returning water from the back of the heads? My sugestion is run a line from each head and y them into the back of the water pump. 6 7and 8 are very hot holes with very poor cooling conditions. Also make sure you radius your valve reliefs in your pistons do not leave sharp edges on them.

The girdle is not really need for your power level. But if you have it it wont hurt. Plus if its the one from greg the guy that made it is cool as hell. I stopped using mine cause im lazy and most people dont use them till 1300 to 1400 hp.

What were your rings gapped at?

Running a dss girdle b.c i just had it around. Burnt through the head and block when i tore ot down. Cooling is oem. My power level has been made before. So i dont see how it should be as issue. The pistons looked to have survived, just some marks from the plugs. Might be re usable. Believe the loss of compression on the other side might be from mushroomed valves. These are also the new tfs heads.

id return the water from the back of both heads to the pump reguardless.

my power level has been made by tons of people but i still manages to eat its self alive.

WHats your ring gaps top and second ring?

And a management system of some sorts is a good idea just for the simple fact you can log everything. And next time dont go out and make a full hit. Go 300 feet shut it off and pull the plugs if all looks well next hit go to the 1/8th and so on.

I took 12 4.6 pistons back to the scrap yard the other day. I got $8.49 back with that being said take your time
