LSx into Porsche. . . and I'm going to need some help

Actually the motor I just pulled from my C5 is a LS2 402ci stroker with trickflow heads etc... made 490-510whp depending on the dyno. I'm debating on parting out the engine or keeping it for an interesting swap like this. I just don't know how well the 996 trans and other drivetrain components would handle that kind of power without more research though. Plus the cost of the car that I don't own...

Even with 4k rpm limit and the torque available, I'm sure that car feels strong!

Could you run a smaller pulley for the tensioner and let that allow enough clearance for the hose? I know GM has many different pulleys that use that same bolt hole dia.

On the belt subject, I see some accessory holes in between the 2 pulleys....Perhaps you can install "another" idler pulley wheel to direct the belt away from the hose. I've done this before and works great.
