im looking at some heads for a stroker motor. i was looking at some afr 225's but ive seen some guys have good results with the 205's, i have been looking on ls1tech but thought id ask here and not get slammed with either a SEARCH post or some bs by some people who dont have anything and give info based on what they read.

opinons on a 402 stroker

Seems like some of those strokers run good with just the l92 stuff. Russ, didn't your old car make really good power with those?

Also, there's another guy on here who went mid 10s with those on a stroker motor. Not much done to them either.

The TFS heads are awesome but they're big $$$.

yea the l92's were nice but i wanted to try a different route i think on this motor, from what ive been reading l92 make great peak power but some afr's or tfs make alot more under the curve and give better driveability since the intake ports arnt so huge

that is the exact opposite...

due to intake limitations right now for the l92 heads, peak power is about 6 grand than it drops off like the millenium force.

but since the fast 92/92 is coming out for the l92 heads this winter i would definately go with them for the stroker, and they are 2k cheaper!

take advantage of the design of the heads, and get a cam thats daily driveable with a split duration and make some sick power.

why would anyone buy afr 205 heads when a factory 243 head is already 210cc. it doesn't take much work to get the 243 head to out perform an afr 205. also less money. and yes the big restriction of the l92 heads is the intake. sucks
