02 silverado 6.0l engine

with this base engine whats the most it can built to using forced induction? How many cubic inches?

What has to be changed to survive reliably at this power level?

well, most LS1 guys are going with 6.0 blocks, it that says anything


and, a cam and tune will put it well over 400hp
 
bone stock + forced induction+good gas=600 easy
Stock crank+better pistons/rods=turn up the wick and have a ton of fun.
 
stock crank and rods = 650 crank

forged pistons and rods, stock crank = 1200 crank

370ci or so with stock crank, with stroker crank you can go 414ci I believe
 
some of us truck guys have made some pretty serious power with these lq9..personaly im at the 600 mark and i really dont feel im pushing the motor that hard..

the most i can think of as far as other silverado ss..theres one thats making roughly 820ish on stock interanals i would say thats about maxed

i know the crank is good to about 1000 and heard 1200

i wouldnt go much past a 408..probly a 414..ive seen guys go to 427s but they werent FI..so with FI i would wanna keep alil more material
 
i think .030 over is 370 ci. and there are guys makin a ton of power and goin very fast on that. stock everything with rod bolts guys are makin over 600+
 
What kinda power adder is also important (blower/turbo). Get some good rods/ pistons/ arp hardware and a nice turbo and you should make 1,000hp
