Hey everyone:
I'm not entirely sure this is the proper section to be posting this, but I figured with the high unemployment rate this sort of post would be welcomed just about anywhere. Our business is doing great and we're looking for a few good people to join our team.
We've got a handful of positions to fill immediately:
General Labor: Two Positions Available
We're moving warehouses from 10k sq/ft in Ferndale to 90k sq/ft in Hamtramck. The job will consist mainly of loading box trucks via forklift and sometimes by hand. We're also disassembling 3k sq/ft of modular loft offices and relocating those to the new space. Applicants must be fit and able to work an 8 hour day loading things. Proficiency with simple hand tools is important.
Workers starting at the general labor level have the opportunity to transition into a number of other positions including bus driver, mechanic or fabricator with proper training provided. Read: You bust your ass and we'll move you up.
Pay is $10/hour. This will approximately be 2-3 weeks worth of work.
Food Truck Fabricator: Five Positions Available
A big part of our expansion to the 90k sq/ft facility is that we're launching a large food truck fabrication enterprise. We're be building trucks from scratch within step vans, trailers and box trucks along with rebuilding existing trucks that need updating. We're searching for certified welders, auto body painters and people with experience in angular sheet metal forming, refrigeration and general pipefitting for HVAC, fire suppression and propane. You must have experience in at least one of these systems to be a qualified applicant and begin working on food trucks immediately; this is not an apprenticeship or learning experience.
Pay is commensurate with experience and certified skills.
