Looking to borrow an a9l or a9p computer to rule out if mine is toast. I wouldn't need it for long, I'm on the east side but travel all over for work. Any help is appreciated.

I'm not taking a chance on another used one I want to plug in a known good one and if that's my problem I'll buy a new or refurb.

What's to say you wouldn't fry someones good computer? There are ways to test if the pcm is bad without swapping to a known good one

i mean whats the car doing. why dont you talk it out with us, maybe we can help? sprak, fuel, compression? timing correct?

I put a new harness in the car to swap to mass air, I am pretty sure the computer is dead as it had a big dent in the case. Crank no start, fuel pump isn't running I am thinking that the computer is not grounding it as all of the wiring for the pump is OE and was running before I pulled the front harness and swapped.

why dident you just buy the mass air conversion kit? i have one at the house. it taps into the speed density wiring and you just change the computer....

check the fuel pump relay? all grounds on the harness are connected and are making good contact? id start there.

I bought the harness and computer years ago before the conversion kits were around. Checked all grounds and relays, that is why I'm looking to try a know good computer.

did you try manually priming the pump from the test port? bottom right terminal (when the four terminals are on the bottom) of the connector to ground (with the key on). also, check the inertia switch in the hatch/trunk area.
