Maybe this can be a new thread for everyone to use to locate loaned out tools that never made it back! At least this time around I kinda know who has it. Usually I just loan tools out and have no clue who has what.

Guy's name is Jim from lake Orion. I did some machine work on a 400 sbc last year for him. Now his cell number is no good. And I don't have a last name. I think he may post on this board.

Jim, PM me. I could really use this soon.

Professor in the house!

p.s. What's a timing light? Is it a strong spotlight used for viewing your laptop while adjusting the RPM vs. load timing table?

I lost a portable air tank i loaned out at no et last year, i didnt know the guy and probably shouldnt have done it but its gone now. It was the last time any tools will ever be loaned out.

Sadly this happens and it makes it bad for those that would normally be trust worthy. When I would go to a U-Pull-It yard and some random guy would ask to use a tool, I at first allowed it..... but allll it took was ONE guy to walk off with the tool to never be found again. Luckily it was an el cheapo screw driver, but due to that it ended future loan outs. Now when I get asked and reject the person, they act like I'm racist or something............................... That's when I want to haul off and wanna punch the MF'er. I could go on about this shit.

Ok I will try to pm him over on the DR board- Thanks

Yes it's Dave! I am working on my fifth post or so now...

And Geoff, a timing light is what is needed for a 1939 9N ford tractor after you R&R something called a distributor.

Yo Dave! I've got a pretty good timing light laying around that I'll loan out. I wouldn't mind loosing it to you. Dean-
