FWIW, I was searching all over CL and FB marketplace in 2020 looking for trailers, I ended up buying a new trailer from Lowes. Its a smaller 4x6 and I think it cost $650 which is close to what everyone was asking for some rusty used stuff. Lowes usually have many different sizes in stock.
 
I honestly just went new, however, you can usually find 5x8 and smaller all over facebook cheap, everyone upgrades, I bought a new 5x10
