Looking for old alpine car radio

way to new here one I picked up yesterday 1985 the second CD player with an alpine name and their first CD player they made all the earlier ones were sony units with a different face, Oh this one is basically new out of box as the "remove before usage" screw is still in it. Its just a CD player as the radio was a different unit . Yes it needs to be cleaned

CD player technology hasnt changed much in the last 20 years. Kind of like the reason why most audio nuts (like me) like 100 year old vacuum tube technology instead of modern transistors....it just plain sounds better.
 
I know its not exactly what you are looking for, but i have a 7887 that I have had sittin on my shelf for years. It is basically like new. I know you are into the old stuff like I am.
 
i have a 7930 like new in the box with all the paperwork ( my old head unit) and a 7832 in fair condition, just the head unit and remote
